“Jake and I met by chance in college. He was in his sophomore year; I was in my freshman year. I had some friends that lived together on the second floor, their door being right across from Jake’s. We began as good friends until many months later, we decided to give dating a shot. Jake proposed to me April 12th , 2025. We had agreed not to get engaged while I was still pursuing my masters. However, he didn’t listen, and it was the best thing he could’ve done. He took me to Isle of Palms, Charleston and completely surprised me when he got down on one knee on the beach with just us two on it. We are so excited to share this day with our friends and loved ones as you have all been an integral part of our story.”
